How the conversion works
Many institutions convert CGPA to percentage by multiplying the CGPA by a fixed number. Some use 9.5, others use 10, and some use their own tables. This tool lets you choose the multiplier, so you can follow the formula given by your university or the employer.
Use the official method
Different boards and universities publish their own formula. Employers and exam bodies usually accept the official conversion printed on your marksheet or given in a circular from your university. If your institution provides a certificate of equivalence, use that.
Tip for resumes
Write the original scale on your resume, for example "CGPA 8.2 / 10", and add the percentage only if the university allows it.
