1. Subscription Plans

Pehchan may offer paid PRO and BUSINESS subscriptions. Each plan may be offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or another billing period that is clearly shown before purchase. The exact price, currency, included features, introductory offer, taxes, and billing period shown to you at checkout govern your purchase.

2. Price, Taxes, and Currency

Prices may be displayed in local currency or another currency supported by the applicable billing platform. Taxes, GST, VAT, sales tax, or similar charges may be included in the displayed price or added where required by the billing platform or applicable law. The final amount charged is the amount displayed by the applicable checkout or billing platform immediately before confirmation, except for changes that the platform or law permits after purchase.

3. Platform Billing

For Android subscriptions purchased inside the Pehchan app distributed through Google Play, digital subscription purchases are generally processed through Google Play Billing, subject to applicable Google Play policies and any program or regional exception that lawfully applies. Google Play controls the payment instrument, billing account, store receipt, and certain refund and cancellation mechanics for those purchases.

If Pehchan offers a separate web checkout, the checkout page will identify the applicable payment processor or merchant arrangement for that transaction. Third-party processors may include services such as Razorpay or Paddle only where they are actually presented as an available payment method. Their own terms, privacy notices, tax handling, refund workflows, and payment controls may also apply.

4. Renewal

Unless you cancel, an auto-renewing subscription continues for successive billing periods. The renewal date is determined by the billing platform and purchase terms. A payment authorization may occur before the next renewal date. If the payment method fails, the platform may retry payment, place the subscription into a grace period or account-hold state, or allow the subscription to expire, according to the platform's rules.

5. Introductory Pricing and Free Trials

When a trial or introductory price is offered, the purchase screen will identify the duration and applicable price. Unless the offer states otherwise, an introductory or trial period may convert into the applicable paid recurring subscription at the end of that offer period. You are responsible for canceling before the conversion or renewal deadline if you do not wish to continue, subject to the billing platform's cancellation mechanics and applicable law.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel an auto-renewing subscription at any time. Canceling your subscription normally stops future renewals; it does not automatically reverse a charge that has already been made. For Google Play purchases, use the subscription-management controls provided by Google Play. For a direct web subscription, use the cancellation method provided in the relevant checkout/account area or contact support where instructed.

Unless a platform or applicable law provides otherwise, cancellation normally leaves the paid features active until the end of the current paid period. After that period, the account may move to the Free tier and access to paid-only features may end.

7. Expiration and Loss of Paid Access

Paid access can end when a subscription expires, is canceled and the paid period ends, is refunded or revoked, payment is not successfully completed after any applicable grace period, or the associated entitlement is otherwise removed under the billing platform's rules or these Terms. Expiration of a paid plan does not by itself delete your Pehchan account or ordinary profile data, unless your account is separately deleted.

8. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Plan Changes

Where the billing platform supports plan changes, the exact proration, timing, charge, credit, or effective date is determined by the platform and the applicable subscription configuration. An upgrade or downgrade may take effect immediately or at the next renewal depending on the platform and plan configuration. The purchase screen and store may provide additional information.

9. Price Changes

Pehchan may change subscription prices, including prices for monthly or annual plans. Future prices and the timing of their application may depend on the billing platform, your country, the type of price change, and applicable law. Where a platform requires advance notice or user consent for a price increase, that process will be handled through the platform. A price decrease may take effect at a future renewal in accordance with platform rules.

Do not rely solely on an old screenshot or old web page for a subscription price. The price and terms shown at checkout are the authoritative terms for a new purchase, subject to applicable law.

10. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please first check the billing platform's order/subscription record. Contact the applicable platform for store-billed transactions where the platform controls the charge or refund. For direct web transactions, contact [email protected] and provide the relevant order information without sending full payment-card numbers or security codes.

11. Entitlements and Restore

Pehchan may use a subscription-management service such as RevenueCat to validate, synchronize, and restore store purchase entitlements. A purchase does not guarantee access to a particular feature forever; access is based on the active entitlement and the plan currently available to your account.

Subscription status may be associated with your Pehchan account and may include information such as product identifier, entitlement state, purchase/renewal/expiration timestamps, store transaction identifiers, and platform metadata necessary to provide and support subscriptions. 13. App-Store Terms

Your use of a store-billed subscription is also subject to the terms, policies, and settings of Google Play and, where applicable to future versions of the Service, other app marketplaces. In the event of a conflict regarding payment processing, store billing, store refunds, or store account management, the applicable store rules control to the extent required.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and authentication information

• Google account information made available through Google OAuth, such as email address, display name, and profile image.
• Pechan account identifiers, username/handle, profile settings, plan/entitlement state, and account-related timestamps.
• Information you voluntarily provide, such as phone number, biography, professional details, social links, resume information, or other profile fields.

1.2 Content you create or upload

• Profile photos, banners, images, videos, audio, stories, resumes, links, social links, product/portfolio entries, and other content you submit.
• Information about links or destinations you configure as part of your profile.

1.3 Subscription and transaction information

• Subscription product, plan, entitlement, renewal, expiration, and related transaction identifiers needed to provide paid access.
• Payment information may be processed directly by Google Play or another payment processor. Pehchan does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or CVV/security codes in its own application database.

1.4 Analytics, diagnostics, and technical information

Depending on the features you use and the configuration of the Service, we may process information such as device/platform information, app version, crash information, diagnostics, IP address or approximate network information, event timestamps, performance information, and service usage events. We may use analytics or diagnostics providers where needed to operate and improve the Service.

2. Public Information

Pehchan is a public-profile service. Information that you intentionally publish as public can be accessible to anyone who receives or discovers your profile link. Public content can be copied or retained by others even after you edit or delete it. Do not publish information that you need to keep confidential.

• to create and maintain your account;
• to display and operate your profile and the features you choose;
• to provide, verify, synchronize, and restore subscriptions;
• to provide analytics you request and make those analytics available to you;
• to process uploads, media, links, and other content;
• to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and investigate security incidents;
• to diagnose crashes and technical problems;
• to provide support and respond to legal or operational requests;
• to comply with applicable legal obligations; and
• to improve the reliability, performance, and usefulness of Pehchan.

4. Legal Bases and Applicable Privacy Laws

Depending on the jurisdiction, we may rely on contractual necessity, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or other lawful bases available under applicable privacy law. Where a law gives you additional rights or requires a particular consent or notice, those requirements apply to the extent legally applicable.

Pehchan does not represent that every privacy law applies to every user. For example, GDPR, UK GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection framework may apply differently depending on the user's location, our activities, thresholds, and applicable implementation rules.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We may use service providers and infrastructure partners to operate the Service. Depending on the product configuration, these may include:

• Google: authentication, Google Play distribution/billing, and related Google services you choose to use.
• Supabase: database, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
• Cloudflare / R2 / related infrastructure: media storage, delivery, networking, security, and related infrastructure where used.
• RevenueCat: subscription entitlement management, synchronization, and restoration for supported mobile subscriptions.
• Analytics or diagnostics services: where integrated into the app or a Pehchan web property.
• Payment processors: such as Razorpay or Paddle where a transaction is actually completed through that provider.
• Email or support providers: where used to provide customer support or transactional communications.

6. User-Configured Google Analytics and Meta Pixel

Certain paid or business features may allow a profile owner to add their own third-party analytics or advertising measurement identifiers, such as a Google Analytics ID or Meta Pixel ID, to their Pehchan profile or domain. When enabled, the relevant third party may receive information directly from visitors to that profile or web property according to its own technologies and privacy policy.

A profile owner who enables third-party tracking is responsible for using those tools lawfully, providing any required notices, obtaining any required consent, and accurately describing the processing to their visitors. Pehchan provides the configuration capability but does not control the third party's independent processing after data is transmitted to that third party.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Pehchan web properties may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, analytics, performance, and features enabled by the user. The exact technologies depend on the page, product configuration, and consent choices where applicable.

8. Data Sharing

We may share information with service providers acting on our behalf, with third parties you intentionally connect or direct us to use, where necessary to process a transaction, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, rights, safety, or security. We do not sell personal data for money.

9. International Data Transfers

Pehchan and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we seek to use legally recognized mechanisms appropriate to the relevant transfer.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, complete transactions, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

11. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

If you delete your Pehchan account through the available deletion process, we will delete or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period, subject to data that must or may lawfully be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial/accounting records, dispute resolution, backups, or other legitimate purposes.

Certain content that you previously published publicly may have been copied or cached by third parties outside our control. Deleting your Pehchan account does not guarantee deletion of copies maintained by third parties.

12. Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, or lodge a complaint with a relevant data-protection authority. We may need to verify requests before fulfilling them.

13. Children's Privacy

Pehchan is not designed as a service directed to children. Do not create an account or publish content on Pehchan if you are not legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction. Where we learn that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where the law requires parental consent or prohibits the processing, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

14. Security Incidents

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident occurs, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain, remediate, and provide any notifications required by applicable law.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, technologies, or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date and, where required, provide additional notice.

1. Pehchan Brand

The name Pehchan, the Pehchan logo and "P" mark, domain name pehchan.me, service presentation, interface designs, graphics, source code, and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and may be protected by current or future trademark registrations.

2. Trademark Status

References to Pehchan™ are intended as a brand-identification notice. Trademark rights and registration status may vary by country and by asset. Nothing on this page should be read as claiming a government registration that has not actually been obtained.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Pehchan service and refer to Pehchan accurately for legitimate purposes. You may not use our marks, graphics, screenshots, or branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, ownership, or official partnership.

4. User Trademarks and Copyright

Users remain responsible for making sure that names, logos, images, music, documents, links, product information, and other content they upload or publish do not infringe another person's rights.

If you believe content or branding on Pehchan infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, contact [email protected] with sufficient information to identify the relevant material and your legal basis for the request. We may request additional evidence before taking action.

Pehchan uses access controls, encrypted connections, authentication mechanisms, backend security rules, and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. Specific controls may change as the infrastructure evolves.

2. Authentication

Pehchan currently uses Google-based authentication. You should protect your Google account, recovery methods, and devices. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support promptly and secure the underlying Google account.

3. Data in Transit

We use encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS for supported web and API traffic. Security controls are not a guarantee that interception or compromise is impossible.

4. Media Storage and Delivery

User media may be stored and delivered through cloud infrastructure providers and content-delivery services. Access controls, signed URLs, caching, or public delivery may vary depending on whether a specific item is public or private and the feature's design.

5. Payment Security

For store-billed purchases, payment details are handled by the applicable platform, such as Google Play. For web purchases, payment details may be handled by the selected payment processor. Pehchan does not intentionally store full card numbers or CVV/security codes in its own application database.

6. Responsible Security Reports

If you discover a suspected security vulnerability, report it to [email protected] where available. Please do not access, copy, modify, publish, or destroy another user's data while investigating a security issue.

7. No Absolute Security Guarantee

No online service, database, cloud provider, or transmission method is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, malware, data loss, or other security incidents will never occur.

1. Google Play Purchases

If you purchased a Pehchan subscription through Google Play, transactions are governed by Google Play's billing policies and refund mechanisms. You must request refunds directly through your Google Play account order history. Pehchan cannot directly reverse store-billed charges.

2. Direct Web Purchases

For subscriptions purchased directly through our web interface, all charges are non-refundable upon completion.

Cancellation vs. Refund: When you cancel an active subscription, you are disabling the auto-renewal cycle. Your paid features remain fully operational until the final day of your current prepaid billing cycle, after which your account transitions to the Free Tier. Cancellation does not generate a refund for the remainder of that active term.

In extremely rare cases involving verified duplicate billing caused by a payment gateway glitch, you may request a billing audit by emailing [email protected] within 48 hours of the charge with your transaction ID. Approved adjustments are processed back to the original payment instrument.

1. User-Generated Content

Pehchan is a platform where users can publish profiles, stories, images, videos, audio, resumes, links, social information, and other user-generated content. Users are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights associated with their content.

2. Content Review and Moderation

We may use automated and/or human review, reports, safety signals, security checks, and other reasonable methods to identify content or behavior that may violate these Terms or applicable law. We do not guarantee that every violation will be detected before it is reported.

3. Reporting Abuse or Illegal Content

Report abuse, impersonation, malware, scams, serious harassment, or other prohibited content to [email protected]. Include the profile URL, story or content link, a description of the issue, and any information reasonably necessary to investigate the report. Do not send unnecessary personal data.

4. Impersonation

You must not impersonate another person, business, public figure, brand, or organization. Verified status, where available, does not create ownership of a person's name or guarantee the accuracy of every claim made on a profile.

5. Copyright and Other Rights

If you believe user content infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected]. We may remove or restrict the reported content where reasonably appropriate and may request supporting information.

6. External Destinations and Harmful Links

A Pehchan profile may link to websites outside Pehchan. We may restrict links that are malicious, deceptive, illegal, or materially harmful to users. We do not guarantee that every linked website is safe.

Where practical, we may provide an explanation or review path for enforcement actions. We may limit details when disclosure would create security, privacy, legal, or abuse risks.

If your account settings provide a direct deletion action, you may use that in-app flow. You can also request account deletion through our web-based support/privacy process. When deletion is requested, we will follow the deletion and retention rules described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Important for app-store compliance: the external deletion page linked in Google Play should make the deletion request path easy to find and should remain functional. Do not rely on this general support page alone if the store requires a dedicated deletion-request URL.

7. Support Response Times

We aim to respond to support requests within 24 to 48 business hours, but this is a target rather than a contractual guarantee. Legal, safety, abuse, privacy, and security requests may be prioritized according to their nature and urgency.

8. Account Recovery

Because Pehchan uses Google authentication, password reset and recovery for the underlying account are handled through Google. Pehchan cannot reset your Google password. If you regain access to the Google account associated with Pehchan, you can normally use that account to sign back in.

9. Safe Support Practices

Pehchan support will not need your Google password, one-time password, full card number, CVV, private key, or other sensitive credential. Do not send these items by email.
